Many residents are parked where they block the sidewalks and this is posing a threat to the children in our neighborhood as they ride bikes, walk to school, or just walk around the neighborhood. Remember the goal in our neighborhood is to keep children safe! Please clear the sidewalks and park on the curb. This will ensure that joggers, children going to school, and families walking are safe and free from getting hit by a car.
The Crowley Police Department will be increasing patrol in our neighborhood to ensure these sidewalks are free/clear of parked vehicles. Warnings/citations will be issued because this is a violation of city code here in Crowley.
